Linda Darlene Rintoul passed away surrounded by family on August 17, 2025, at the age of 78. She will be cherished forever as a firecracker in spirit, radiant in presence, and endlessly generous in heart.

Born on May 5, 1947, in Salinas, California, Linda worked tirelessly to create a better life for her family than the one she knew growing up. She set her children—and, in turn, her larger family—on a stronger path, modeling grit, hard work, and perseverance. Above all, she was a faithful, God-fearing woman who loved Jesus and sought to live out her faith in word and deed.

Though she did not graduate from high school, Linda helped forge the modern Silicon Valley. She began on the manufacturing floor as a technician and, through relentless work, uncommon operational savvy, and innate leadership, rose to Director of Operations—earning respect across the industry.

Linda is survived by her sons Dan Collins (Amy), James Collins (Loree), and Steven Rintoul (Josh); grandchildren Brittany (Trevor), Josiah (Holly), Justine (Daniel), Leah, Joshua (Anya), Devin (Jimmy), Hunter (Bryn), Mikayla (Matthew), and Logan; and great-grandchildren Annie, Braelynn, Luke, JJ, Ella, and Gideon. She will also be deeply missed by her faithful dog, Gracie, and a wide circle of family and friends.
